I developed and launched a platform specifically for University of Sydney (USYD) students, where they can write reviews and sell notes for over 3,000 courses. Using JavaScript, React, and Chakra UI, I created a modern, intuitive front-end. To drive initial traffic, I ran a promo code campaign during USYD Orientation Week, attracting 50 active users within the first three days. The backend, hosted on a self-configured VPS, handles the Stripe payment logic, enabling secure transactions between buyers and sellers. I utilized Firestore Database for structured data management and Firebase Storage for optimized file handling. Additionally, I integrated the Algolia API to power fast and efficient search functionality for courses and notes.
